The easiest way to save energy is to get energy efficient gadgets.  Everything from cell phones to computers comes with an energy star ratings. Green accessories like solar chargers are available for everything form cell phones to digital cameras.

Laptops use a lot less energy than desktop computers, so make the switch if you can.

Screens and displays are one of the biggest energy drains for gadgets.  To save energy with your camera or camcorder, turn off the electronic display and use the viewfinder.  This will have a huge positive effect of battery life.

By changing the settings for when your devices go to sleep or do other tasks you can get them running with maximum energy efficiency.  Also, turning off your computer at night will save a lot of energy.
