AT&T has just announced the LTE-enabled USBConnect Momentum 4G and Mobile Hotspot Elevate 4G, so that would mean a national rollout of the network is clearly in tow. To summarize, folks living in areas such as Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio will be able to enjoy home broadband-like speeds on non-4G devices

The Mobile Hotspot Elevate 4G, it can hook up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices, and also connects to the carrier’s HSPA+ network in markets without 4G LTE coverage. A 1.7-inch color LCD display is there for you to check out the vital statistics including signal strength, data usage and battery status, signal strength and data usag. The device will cost $70 with a new two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.

The USB Connect Momentum 4G, a plug into any USB port, will be available this summer too, where it will establish a connection to AT&T’s 4G (HSPA+ or LTE) and 3G (EDGE/GPRS) networks. Just to boost up its capacity, the Momentum 4G sports a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB cards. There is also integrated GPS navigation so that you need not get lost wherever you go.
